Like most cloth diaper brands on the market for a few of years, the model of Funky Fluff diapers that first hit the market is different from the one currently sold. To differentiate between these two, slightly different designs, Funky Fluff refers to the “1.0” and the “2.0.”
The easiest way to tell if you have a 1.0 or a 2.0 on your hands (in either bamboo or stay dry) is by looking inside:
The 1.0 features a double gusset, while the 2.0 does not.
Funky Fluff 1.0 inserts are naturally slightly wider than those that come with the 2.0 version, but users generally report that they can mix and match their inserts without much trouble.
The new versions of Funky Fluff were released in November 2013 (Bamboo) and April 2014 (Stay Dry). These retired colours from the Funky Fluff line up were only ever available as version 1.0:
Funky Fluff launched its newest design in August 2015. You can read more about how the third generation of Funky Fluff diapers, known as Lux, compare to its predecessor via Maman Loup’s Den and This West Coast Mommy.
